Key Business Objectives:
The Operations Services Manager (OSM) is responsible for the Company’s natural gas compressor packages and related components. The OSM maintains the Company’s idle equipment to prevent damage or additional costs being incurred while the units are being prepared for active deployment. All employees are responsible for maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
Requirements Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure unit file records are up-to-date with any changes or upgrades to compressor packages.
• Work safely by using the use of JSA (Job Safety Analysis) prior to beginning work.
• Responsible for ensuring all employees keep current on safety training as provided by the company, attend safety meetings as required, and report all incidents per company guidelines.
• Inspect new units received from packagers and ensure units are sealed and preserved
• Review bills of lading to verify all shipped loose items are received.
• Evaluate all units returned from a customer location for necessary repairs per Company maintenance program.
• Prioritize units for repair and shipment per receipt of contract.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all units and related components.
• May be required to obtain field or shop repair cost estimates from vendors.
• Communicate information and work effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients and other external contacts by phone, email, or in person.
• Respond to problems and correctly determine the most cost effective, timely and efficient method of repairs.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices for all storage facilities and yards are done daily.
• Provide necessary feedback to employees based on their job performance and provide training or support as needed.
• Provide to all USA employees necessary unit information as to repairs required before shipment, specific unit data serial numbers, emission rates, engine date of manufacturing, etc.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory of both new and used parts.
• Follow polices for Company-provided assets, computer, cell phone, and vehicle.
• All duties to be performed in accordance with Company EHS guidelines.
• Any and all other job duties as assigned.

Skills/Capabilities and Education:
• Vocational or Technical Education Certificate in related field.
• Preferred minimum of 7 yrs. experience with modern natural gas engines and compressors and related equipment used on compressor packages.
• Management experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting/diagnostic software as provided by different OEM’s. Example Ariel Performance/ GE Viper/ GERP by Caterpillar, etc.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Knowledge of delegating job duties based on experience level of employee.
• Assess and anticipate requirements for personnel, material, and equipment.
• Demonstrate leadership and communication skills to fellow team members.
• High degree of mechanical aptitude, with advanced knowledge of systems, i.e., fuel, air, gas, water, and lubrication.
• Basic computer skills, able to communicate by e-mail, and working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Ability to read and write in English

Working Conditions:
• Travel and overnight stays may be required for meetings, trainings, and seminars.
• Must be willing to work extended hours, as necessary.
• Must be willing to take direction from senior team members.
• Periodic lifting requirements in excess of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven and varied terrain, climb ladders and stairs, and stoop, squat, kneel, crouch and crawl depending on the task requirements
• Exposure to extremes in temperature and weather conditions, depending on assigned location
• Some exposure to high noise levels in excess of 85 dba that require ear protection, as well as exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals and materials
• There is a strong emphasis on safety while working with heavy equipment and machinery.
