Description Summary
Provides specialized professional services, technical assistance, implementation, communication, and tracking services to facilitate advancement and evaluation of the West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI). This program coordinator will also serve as a liaison among WVCTSI partner sites to enhance collaboration and coordination of programmatic efforts. This position will be housed in the Administration Core and provide program support and coordination for the Tracking and Evaluation Core.

Duties & Responsibilities
1) Establishes and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with partner site contacts
2) Works with partners to identify specific needs and to address barriers in clinical and translational research endeavors, including other WVCTSI core representatives as needed.
3) Collaborates with partner site contacts on event and activity planning.
4) Provides programmatic support to the WVCTSI Tracking and Evaluation Core
a. Assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring Tracking and Evaluation Core goals, strategies, and progress
b. Coordinates communication and information flow from WVCTSI Cores and Partners to Tracking and Evaluation Core
c. Monitors status and facilitates completion of all tracking and evaluation relevant data requests and data deliveries to and from Tracking and Evaluation Core
d. Assists in development, writing, and dissemination of all tracking and evaluation relevant reports, presentations, and publications
e. Assists in development and coordinates technical project management tools such as plans, schedules, and responsibility and compliance matrices
f. Oversees maintenance and periodic enhancement of Tracking and Evaluation website
g. Arranges, assists in preparing agendas, attends, and prepares minutes for meetings, trainings, data gathering, and other events related to program efforts
h. Develops and maintains positive professional relationships with individuals providing or receiving services or information from Tracking and Evaluation Core
i. Assists in development and implementation of surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other evaluation relevant data collections

Supervisory/Lead Role
This position reports to the Director of Strategic Operations, with additional guidance and direction from the WVCTSI Tracking and Evaluation Core Director.

Physical Demands
Activities are predominantly non-manual though some responsibilities require the occasional lifting of 25lbs. The incumbent must be able to effectively hear and communicate with others. Close visual acuity, the ability to adjust focus, identify and distinguish colors, peripheral vision, and depth perception are required in the job.

Work Environment
This position includes a mixture of a normal office environment and a training development environment, and traveling to various locations for meetings, conferences and/or training and evaluation data collection. It also includes the ability to maintain and keep confidential information. Incumbent is responsible to know and comply with all safety procedures.
Requirements Requisite Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
1) Bachelor’s degree;
2) 2 or more years’ experience with project management, program evaluation, or social science research;
3) An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications & Credentials
Education and/or Experience
1) Master’s degree in Educational Research or Evaluation, Public Health, or related field preferred.
2) 2 - 4 years of experience contributing to programmatic evaluation of multifaceted health science or education program.
3) Experience in data visualization within statistical software packages or others.
4) Proficiency in analysis, interpretation and reporting using SPSS and/or R.
5) Knowledge of and familiarity with some or all of the following types of program evaluation: formative, summative, process, outcome, and impact evaluation.
6) Experience in constructing and communicating logic models.
7) Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud products, especially Photoshop.
