Description Calling all Techs! If you have a passion to design, create, and maintain computerized databases this position is for you. The Database Administrator is responsible for backup, recovery, troubleshooting, configuring, monitoring, installing, deploying changes, increasing performance, ensuring data integrity, setting database security, implementing SSIS/SSRS, tuning T-SQL, ensuring standards, improving efficiency and effectiveness of all process that relate to data. This includes relational and non-relational databases across the company. Areas of responsibility also include disaster recovery, high availability, and business intelligence.

• Maintain database backups (MSSQL, MongoDB, Oracle) and recovery information.
• Restore database or tables.
• Control user access and security.
• Monitor performance and allocate resources as needed.
• Modify structure or configuration for new applications.
• Extract, transfer, and load data.
• Document security and structure.
• Install updates and upgrade versions.
Requirements REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 or more years’ experience in a DBA role
• Experience troubleshooting database problems
• Automation experience with native or third party tools
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
• Knowledge of failover and redundancy configurations
• Knowledge of database roles and security best practices
• Knowledge of MSSQL Server 2008, 2012, and MySQL
• Ability to communicate with other staff

PREFERRED:
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
• 5 years' DBA experience
• Relational and Non-Relational DB experience
• Knowledge of DB2 and MongoDB
• Knowledge of Visual Studio, SSRA, SSIS, SSMS
• Knowledge of document storage and workflow
