Title Supervisor of Retention & Retail Operations, Florence

Description Are you looking to make an impact in your next position? Do you love building relationships with people? The Supervisor of Retention and Retail Operations, Florence will provide day-to-day supervision of Florence-area retail locations. This position will help to generate new members and retain current VIVA Medicare members via corporate marketing activities through sales, advertising, and scheduling events. This position supports Sales Management through sales and retention goals and assignments, builds relationships in the community, and implements collaborative and educational events at retail locations and in the community to increase awareness, retain members, and improve branding. May require travel within VIVA Health’s service area and a reliable means of transportation insured in accordance with Company policy.
Requirements REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Current State of Alabama Department of Insurance Producer License or eligible for licensing in AL within 90 days of employment
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• 1 year experience in retail development, management, and operations oversight
• 1 year experience in Sales and/or Service, preferably within the health care field
• Maintain an excellent working knowledge of Medicare regulations, the managed care industry in general, the competitive environment, pertinent legislation, and other information useful in successfully marketing the Medicare product
• Ability to assist in coordinating events and Marketing activities within the designated Market
• Possess technical skills sufficient to operate a desktop, laptop, and iPad in the retail store and from the field. Proficient with Goldmine, Voyager, Magnolia, Microsoft Word, Excel, and various other computer databases.
• Experienced speaking and presenting to large groups and audiences
• Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and work effectively in a variety of settings
• Detail oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and an effective communicator with various audiences (vendors, providers, members, potential members, sales agents, etc.)
PREFERRED:
• 3 years’ experience in retail development, management, and operations oversight
• 3 years’ experience in Sales and/or Service, preferably within the health care field
