Title Corporate Director of Sales

  • Responsible for ensuring each property achieves budgeted segment goals as established in the annual budget.
  • Creation of monthly, quarterly and annual sales and catering booking goals for all hotels. Function as the administrator of the sales incentive program.
  • Train, mentor, and coach regional and local sales teams.
  • Monitor sales team activities and set expectations. Oversee the efforts of the team to prospect and qualify new business by conducting regular market drives, utilizing reports such as Hotelligence, in-house guest lists, industry publications, etc.
  • Ensure the sales team responds to sales leads as provided by the hotel(s), client referrals, CVB leads, and brand.
  • Collaborate with Director or Revenue Management to create annual & seasonal rate strategies for each property and all segments.
  • Participate in regular revenue maximization (RevMax) meetings Maintain relationships with key accounts such as LNR, city-wides, corporate and government.
  • Conduct site inspections as needed.
  • Follow consistent sales office procedures by updating account database; record account activity, call reports, traces, and history.
  • Prepare and update a sales action plan indicating all future efforts, goals and objectives outlining weekly sales efforts in a planned, organized realistic plan to develop and grow hotel’s penetration within the assigned segment.
  • Coordinates weekly sales review meeting with Corporate Executive team.
  • Responsible for conducting quarterly sales audits.
  • Build networking opportunities and represent Pinnacle's interests in local issues by regularly attending local Chamber of Commerce, Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, hotel associations, trade shows and community events. Represent Pinnacle’s values on a daily basis: Integrity, Professionalism, Teamwork, Quality, Leadership, and Appreciation.
Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in business or hospitality related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the hotel industry in a sales capacity.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
