Description Morgan Borszcz Consulting (MBC) is actively seeking a junior to mid-level management consultant to support an active contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This position will support Enterprise Business Management Office (EBMO) within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Qualified applicants should have a management consulting background, or relevant transferrable skills, an active DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD). Working knowledge and experience with Capital Planning and Investment Control processes and related systems is preferable.

This position requires a DHS EOD and Active Security Clearance

Responsibilities
Project Support
• Provide support for meeting coordination, facilitation, and administration to include capturing and publishing meeting minutes
• Develop and deliver executive-level and user community communications and presentations
• Organize training schedule(s) and logistics (e.g., room reservations and material production)
• Solicit and manage training registration
• Coordinate and contribute to modifications and updates to training material and relevant guidance, processes, and procedures
• Update & maintain guidance, policy, process, user guide, roles & responsibilities, contact lists, Q&A documents
• Compile and report performance and survey data
• Support updates, upgrades, and patches for technical infrastructure
• Enter project task status updates into project management tool (e.g., Jira)
• Track status of Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) issues and coordinate/expedite corrective actions
• Work with the CPIC functional community to develop Business Intelligence reporting requirements
• Coordinate functional, technical, and training initiatives and communicate progress to client Program Manager and Government System Owners.
• Support annual edits/modifications to various Technical and Functional MOUs
• Translate technical concepts into functional language and vice-versa
• Perform entry Level SharePoint Site/List/Library design and configuration
• Develop guidance for the utilization of SharePoint in various applications
• Maintain repository of current documents for access by the end-user community via the SharePoint site
• Develop and maintain a high-level of proficiency and familiarity with COTS product Oracle Primavera Portfolio Management (OPPM) tool
• Review OPPM tool to identify and document data validation errors within carious data categories

• Supported proposal preparation for a new engagement
• Demonstrates knowledge of MBC products and services

Requirements Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Information Systems, or other related field and two (2) years of relevant professional experience, (OR) a high school degree, or a GED, and XX (#) years of relevant professional experience
• Active DHS EOD required
• Active Security Clearance
• Client facing experience with strong client communication and management skills
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)
• Excellent interpersonal skills needed to interact with customers and team members.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
• Solid business acumen with broad skillset and flexibility to support various work streams
• Ability to write clearly and informatively; presents qualitative and quantitative information effectively to numerous audiences, including senior client leadership
• Ability to prioritize work activities and uses time efficiently.
• Reacts well under pressure and delivers timely and quality services to the client.

Desired Qualifications
• Experience with CPIC and proficiency in the DHS INVEST system
• Some proficiency in Microsoft Access and Visio, or similar database and process mapping software
• Some proficiency with configuring SharePoint and maintaining document repositories
• Familiarity with DHS, especially headquarters
• Experience as a management consultant within a top-tier firm
