This position can be located in Sioux Falls, SD or Minneapolis, MN.

JOB PURPOSE:

Support the Operations Department by owning the overall operational success of the product suite by managing vendor relationships, ensuring process alignment across customer touch points, coordinating updates and releases, developing training and process documentation, monitoring supply chain activity, and evaluating results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate the development of new products, materials and services with suppliers.
  • Provide specifications and collaborate with suppliers on technical, operational and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations stakeholders to develop and improve all processes related to focused line of business.
  • Manage product vendor relationship including contract terms, procurement options, release roadmap, technical support, and cooperative resource availability.
  • Develop and rollout field operations and contact center training and best practices documentation.
  • Gather and share feedback from customer-facing team members and partner with project management on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with counterpart in sales and marketing to develop accurate forecast models and communicate expectations across the operations organization.
  • Research industry and market trends to understand emerging technologies and operational best practices.
  • Leverage voice of customer data to identify new features, technology, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product availability and procurement activities support growth. Develop specifications for new contract orders.
  • Achieve defined goals through individual and team efforts.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
  • Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.
  • Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Focus in Product Management, Operations Management or related field preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Product Management, Operations Management, or Project Management preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 30 lbs.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
  • Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands
