Description JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly energetic, talented business development executive who is passionate for the "art" of marketing and will have an abundance of ideas for building efficient strategies to connect with referral sources. He/she must bring forth a proven arsenal of techniques and methods to promote our services and public image. The goal is to reach out to the market and cultivate interest from all resources to facilitate increased census growth and revenue in the evolving healthcare market.

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Establishes positive census growth strategies and action plans for identified referral targets.
• Oversees the Marketers, assigns their responsibilities and enhances their techniques to achieve established increasing growth goals for hospice, palliative care and other affiliated programs/companies to maximize presence in the market. Regularly works with referral sources to meet growth goals.
• Collaboratively identifies and develops priority accounts that have high referral opportunities or strategic importance to HMC promoting strong referral partnerships, generating new business growth, developing a trusting relationship, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining customer loyalty. This may include Skilled Nursing and Senior Living facilities, Physicians, Physician office personnel, community organization and individuals.
• Ensures that referral sources’ profile data is current, accurate, and complete on internal platform. Conducts marketing surveys, effectiveness reviews of calls, sales activities, and territory analysis.
• Continually identifies new business leads through targeted research on prospective client’s, strategizing best approach and collecting promotional materials that defines the value of our partnership.
• With the marketers, maintains a complete knowledge of all types of competitive activities within assigned territories and analyzes impact on HMC.
• Assesses individual physician referral patterns through the use of CRM software and seek ways to increase service line utilization and cross-selling opportunities for account maximization.
• Performs administrative oversight of staffs’ responsibilities such as recording customer interactions in CRM tool immediately after each call or visit every work day, timely completion of reports, reviewing productivity tied to the account performance and providing ongoing coaching and sales training.
• Interacts with the CEO at least two to three times a week to document growth outcomes, define future strategies and discuss barriers.
• Leads plan development for sales and program utilization growth in affiliated companies.
• Leads or participates in a variety of meetings/activities to ensure timely communication and issue resolution. Frequently collaborates with Referral/Admission Departments’ leadership and Clinical Teams to review programs and strategies aimed at increasing patient census and average length of stay and ensure that internal and external obstacles to business growth and retention are identified and minimized or eliminated.
• Serves on various community, system and /or hospital committees and work groups as assigned to educate and enhance the awareness of HMC programs and services.
Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Marketing, Business or related field required; Master’s Degree in Marketing or other related Sales/Business degree preferred.
• At least two (2) years sales experience with documented growth results as related to healthcare/pharmaceuticals/Medical Supplies sales.
• At least three (3) years as a successful leader in business development and program management required. Working knowledge of hospice/palliative care preferred.
• Possesses the ability stay focused on continual organizational growth results.

• Must have the ability to work varies hours of the day/evenings and days of the week (including some weekend days) to accomplish goals and demonstrate HMC presence.
• Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License and maintain current auto insurance coverage; Ability to provide a reliable means of transportation as required by the nature of this position.
• Ability to operate a facsimile, copy machines, computers and other common office machines, with working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel and other software appropriate to position.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations, as well as documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
