THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: Commercial Banking Executive

The purpose of this position is to develop, grow, and maintain a portfolio of commercial accounts. Our target market is family-owned businesses located in the communities we serve who are community and civic minded. Generally, these businesses are generating annual revenues between $1,000,000 to $20,000,000.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Engage in active and disciplined calling program to generate new relationships for the Bank. The goal of our calling program IS NOT to sell, but rather to find prospective business owners who exhibit pain in their existing banking relationship and move to solve the pain at premium pricing.
  • 15-20 Face to Face calls per week with the results of each call being input into our advanced CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Meet Face to Face with our top clients at least once per quarter
  • Commitment to become successful in the use of our proprietary sales process.
  • Partner with portfolio management staff (credit analysis) in analyzing credits to determine areas of risk and ways to mitigate evidenced risk.
  • Perform at or above individually assigned goals that would include loans, deposits, fee income, cross-sell, etc
  • Develop those around you by sharing knowledge and helping them to improve their skill sets.
  • Embrace and lead in the culture building process.
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to our customers. We do this in a variety of ways, primarily by having frequent financial check ups. These meetings consists of communicating the results of internal analysis of financial trends using industry comparison. The goal of these meetings is to help set strategy with regard to possible areas of improvement with regard to profitability and cash flow
