Description The Product Strategy Manager role is responsible for driving Meineke’s product strategy by providing the critical market-based product, technology, competitive insights while implementing and executing processes that realize the product strategy. The person in this role will be the strategic product-facing partner to Meineke’s franchisees and vendors.

About

The position will manage the preparation of all product and product-program launches by working with executive leadership and key franchisees. This role will be responsible to collect, synthesize, analyze and communicate relevant information about the product, key markets, key players, key technologies and strategically relevant topics from a variety of sources. Output should provide insight into at least two layers of product communication:

Strategic-level: communication for leadership regarding the market-oriented product initiatives, strategy alignment and fit to organizational objectives.

Market-level: product and market communication to share and understand the business environment, compete successfully in it, and grow as a result. This includes assist in developing product positioning and messaging, competitive positioning, launch plans, and other sales enablement pieces.


Duties And Responsibilities

• Assess, understand and advocate evolving market requirements for current and potential Meineke products. This includes defining the market, evaluating Meineke distinctive competence and competitive positioning, identifying new target product segments, sizing the segment revenue potential, assessing segment trends and drivers, defining essential product features, and developing winning go-to-market strategies;
• Facilitate market and data-driven project prioritization exercises for product roadmapping, in alignment to corporate strategic objectives;
• Produce executive summaries on product projects to Meineke leadership and other stakeholders;
• Coordinate any cross-functional workstreams with operations, marketing, training, and development to support product initiatives;
• Promote thought leadership on product both internally and externally.
Education/Certification

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related field.
• MBA a plus.
Experience

• Generally requires 5+ years related experience within product marketing, marketing and/or product development functions.
• Two years of experience in the automotive industry.
