Description The purpose of this position is to lead and direct all aspects of the Company’s academic, career services and student services function. Work with the executive team in developing and implementing the Company’s mission.

Major Responsibility Areas (MRAs).

MRA #1 Academic Programs
• Oversees academic program development, revision, life cycle, and facilitation of instructional effectiveness.
• Determines faculty qualifications for programmatic leadership and ensures faculty are properly credentialed.
• Reviews curriculum and programs to ensure they are current and relevant.
• Reviews program objectives and outcomes to ensure program effectiveness.
• Ensures that current and relevant instructional methodology is being practiced across the enterprise.

MRA# 2 Accreditation
• Oversees and directs all accreditation activities for enterprise ensuring that all criteria are satisfied as established by accrediting bodies.
• Ensures campus preparation for any and all licensing, accreditation, and regulatory visits.
• Ensures relative campus accreditation and compliance reports are completed accurately and timely.
• Oversees all accreditation applications, renewals, new program approvals, and new campus applications

MRA# 3 Liaison with Regulatory Agencies
• Serves as primary liaison for external licensing and accrediting agencies
• Facilitates communication between relevant outside agencies and the enterprise.
• Attends state and national regulatory meetings and conferences as appropriate.
• Oversees applications and submissions of academic related requests and responses to relevant agencies.

MRA# 4 Academic Operations
• Oversees training and effectiveness of campus academic staff.
• Oversees the administration of academic operational policies.
• Ensures effective course scheduling across the enterprise.
• Supervises and oversees the daily operations and activities of all assigned staff, and serves as mentor for professional development.
• Oversees and directs academic operation activities at all campus locations in order to meet the Company’s academic program goals.

MRA# 5 Academic Compliance
• Oversees and directs all academic compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and licensing requirements along with criteria as established by national, programmatic and occupational accrediting bodies.
• Interprets regulatory and school compliance obligations and formulate proactive action plans to ensure compliance.
• Partners with personnel such as legal, internal audit and/or HR to detect, prevent, identify and resolve compliance issues.
• Ensures understanding of academic compliance obligations.
• Monitors all academic regulatory criteria which impact the enterprise.
• Ensure that an effective and efficient system is in place to monitor all compliance criteria.
• Ensure that a system is in place to effectively and efficiently communicate to the enterprise criteria that regulates academic operations.

MRA# 6 Career Services
• Oversee the implementation and development of policies, programs, and initiatives that maximize student placement throughout all business segments.
• Ensures student placement rates are effective and efficient and intervenes as appropriate.
• Oversees the effectiveness and efficiency of career services systems and programs.
• Ensures that Campus associates track and monitor student placement.

MRA# 7 Student Services
• Oversee the implementation and development of policies, programs, and initiatives that maximize student retention throughout all business segments.
• Ensures student retention rates are effective and efficient and intervenes as appropriate.
• Oversees the effectiveness and efficiency of student services systems and programs.
• Ensures that Campus associates track and monitor student attendance in order to process timely and accurate Title IV Refunds.

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements Education: Master’s degree in education or related field, Doctorate preferred.

Experience: Minimum ten years experience in educational industry leadership or administration. Experience with online and/or hybrid class instruction preferred.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Physical Requirements: This job requires normal physical mobility, including the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Normal hand-eye coordination; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp and lift up to 40 pounds, is also required.

Mental Requirements: This job requires the ability to read, recall, write and understand information. This job also requires the ability to work under moderate pressure and to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Environment: This job is normally performed in a clean, well-lighted, heated and cooled office area/classroom.
