MRA 1 – Payroll Reporting and Coordination. Implements, maintains and ensures accuracy of HR records to Payroll.
• Submits necessary HR reports to payroll each pay period for timely payroll processing.
• Reconciles error reporting between HRIS and Payroll.
• Serves as liaison between HR Department and Daymar’s Finance/Payroll Department.
• Works with HR Generalists and campus-based HR support staff to ensure that all new hires and terminations have been appropriately documented prior to submitting the payroll report for any given pay cycle.

MRA 2 – Benefits . Responsible for administering the Company benefits package and handling day-to-day associate questions and issues.

• Manages Family Medical Leave Act, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability leaves of absence for all associates.
• Responsible for processing employee leaves and maintaining proper documentation and records pertinent to FMLA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
• Ensures that all new hires are notified about benefits package and enrolled in benefits no later than the 60th day of employment.
• Ensures benefit changes are entered into the HRIS in a timely manner and notifies payroll of any adjustments needed.
• Ensures all benefit invoices are paid on a timely basis.
• Administers Open Enrollment during October of each year.
• Determines eligibility requirements and ensures timely enrollment in the group insurance programs including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new benefit plans and programs.
• Fosters and maintains communications with benefit brokers and vendors.
• Provides assistance to associates and answers questions regarding all benefit plans.
• Assists associates with troubleshooting of benefit issues as needed.
• Completes all benefits reporting as required.
• Ensures compliance with all benefit plans and leave policies.
• Prepares and files all annual and compliance reporting related to Daymar’s benefit programs.

MRA 3 – Administrative Support. Assists the Human Resources and Legal Departments with various projects as needed to ensure timely completion of projects and document requests.

• Drafts statistical, narrative, and/or other reports as requested.
• Arranges, participates in, and coordinates meetings as directed.
• Maintains confidentiality of proprietary matters as needed and requested.
• Assists with audits from regulatory agencies as needed.
• Assists with benefit mailings on an as needed basis.
• Creates purchase orders and check requests for the Human Resources and Legal Departments as needed.
• Tracks vendor invoices and submit for approvals as received.
• Processes returned mail to ensure addresses are updated in HRIS and mail is resent to correct address.
• Produce documents for Legal Department as needed and upon request.
• Maintains central filing location for all general Human Resources and Legal documents.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.

Years of Experience: 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources with specific experience in the benefits area.

Physical Requirements – This job requires normal physical mobility, including the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Also, normal hand-eye coordination; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp and lift up to 40 pounds.

Mental Requirements – This job requires the ability to read, recall, write, and comprehend information. This job also requires the ability to work under moderate pressure and to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Environment – This job is normally performed in a clean, well-lighted, heated and cooled office area.
