Description Job Description: Directs all activities and oversees the day-to-day operations of the College to ensure that the Campus provides a warm, friendly, nurturing atmosphere where students can learn the skills required, to obtain the jobs they need, to have the lives they want.

Major Responsibility Areas (MRAs).

MRA #1 Campus Operations
• Ensures effective retention measures are in place to retain students and meet retention goals.
• Ensures effective placement procedures are maintained to ensure graduates are gainfully employed.
• Responsible for effective enrollment management at the campus.
• Monitors and controls cash flow at the campus.
• Ensures the College complies with all state and federal regulatory policies and procedures.
• Monitors and controls expenses and revenue to ensure profit goals are met.
• Ensure the College’s Retention and Placement Rates meet ACICS minimum requirements.

MRA# 2 Student Relations
• Provides a warm, friendly, and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow professionally.
• Ensures that all functional areas provide relevant guidance, support and assistance to help students resolve problems.
• Provides an open door to all students in order to hear and resolve concerns.
• Ensures effective delivery of the Total Student Experience Program.

MRA# 3 Associate Supervision
• Ensures that all Associates understand and perform their assigned duties, and assists them in overcoming obstacles.
• Takes immediate and decisive action to resolve performance and behavioral problems
• Conducts regular staff and faculty meetings to monitor progress against planned goals and to ensure that all staff and faculty are kept informed of new initiatives.
• Ensures that faculty and personnel files are maintained accurately.
• Ensures that Associates comply with all regulatory requirements, Company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

MRA# 4 Administration
• Directs the administration of policies, programs and initiatives that facilitate academic communication, teamwork and involvement to maintain or enhance student learning and continuously improve the overall quality of procedures and processes.
• Prepares and submits payroll data for staff and faculty in a timely manner.
• Provides accurate documentation and processing of all newly hired staff and faculty.
• Works with the Regional Director of School Operations to ensure continuous improvement of quality services to students and the community.
• Leads weekly Debit Balance Meeting to discuss problems associated with collecting cash in a timely manner.
• Leads weekly Accountability Meeting to ensure effective enrollment management.
• Leads weekly Leadership meeting to review and set goals for Key Result Areas.

MRA# 5 Compliance
• Monitors and implements proper processes for timely and accurate processing of Title IV Refunds.
• Schedules and leads Weekly Student Status Meetings in order to initiate preventative or corrective action for students who are at-risk of withdrawing from school.
• Takes immediate action to resolve student attendance problems.
• Ensures that student attendance is recorded and monitored in accordance with the College’s policy.
• Approves withdrawals on the same day they are processed.

MRA# 6 Community Relations
• Ensures that the College maintains its image as a good corporate citizen in the community and keeps abreast of community events that could impact the College either positively or negatively.
• Networks with local business, educational, governmental and special interest leaders in order to promote the College
• Ensures that the College is actively involved in community events and programs
• Participates as a member of community boards, task teams, initiatives, etc.
• Maintains a positive relationship with the local media, regulatory agencies and other organizations that could impact the College
• Develops partnerships with local vendors, businesses, and other organizations that could facilitate the achievement of our vision, mission and strategy
• Gathers and reports information on local competitors and any initiatives they are implementing that could impact the College
Requirements Qualifications
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to prepare and maintain records, correspondence, reports and other data.
• Work days, evenings, and weekends as required.
• Attend meetings and training events, which will include travel.
• Project a professional image and provide outstanding customer service.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Organize and execute around multiple priorities.

Degree Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Years of Experience Three years experience in higher education with demonstrated leadership skills.

Physical Requirements This job requires normal physical mobility, including the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. Normal hand-eye coordination; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp and lift up to 40 pounds, is also required.

Mental Requirements This job requires the ability to read, recall, write, and understand information. This job also requires the ability to work under moderate pressure and to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Environment This job is normally performed in a clean, well-lighted, heated and cooled office area/classroom.
