Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Configuration Manager to join our team in the DC Metro Area to support our government clients. 

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGGS’ capabilities serving our clients.

 

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Configuration Manager you will:

  • Responsible for management of the Configuration Analysis function.
  • Has primary responsibility for supervision and development of first level Supervisors/Managers.
  • Responsible for the employment, training, motivation and discipline of the supervisory/management team.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years configuration analysis experience, including management experience.
  • 10 years of experience (or 8 years of additional relevant experience).
  • Must have experience and be able to develop, document, and implement detailed plans for ensuring configuration control for IT programs, projects, and tasks.
  • Must be able to identify and implement solutions.
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation to ensure accurate product builds, part ordering and product and/or software updates.
  • Experience with Supervisors or Managers reporting to them.

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong communication and team building skills.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a team based environment.
