Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced PHP Developer to join our team in the DC Metro Area. The PHP Developer will work in collaboration with other teams across the business to support our government clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, development and implementation of systems and software, as well as the completion of other project work streams and deliverables.

Job Description


As a PHP Developer you will:


  • Support Technical Architecture and Development activities.
  • Support the coordination of interfaces between the deployment of developed applications and the decommissioning of legacy applications.
  • Support Development and Infrastructure resources.
  • Provide technical expertise, execute and work on delivery of custom software solutions for large-scale centralized databases.
  • Perform incident management that involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues based upon service level agreements with the client.
  • Perform delivery planning and execution for assigned projects.
  • Manage risks and issues, and identify resolutions or mitigation actions.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience Drupal (version 7 or 8) or PHP.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Java.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic desktop applications, including MS office (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, etc.)


Additional Qualifications


  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Prior experience working in Federal Government consulting and with immigration policy is plus but not required.
