Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to join our team in the Cincinnati, OH to support our government clients. The successful applicant will establish the networking environment by designing and directing system configuration, system installation and documenting system standards.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGGS’ capabilities serving our clients.



Job Responsibilities


As a Network Engineer, you will:


  • Design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment.
  • Maximize network performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
  • Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources.
  • Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies.
  • Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
  • Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information.
  • Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
  • Configure routing and switching equipment, hosted IP voice services and firewalls.
  • Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.




Basic Qualifications


  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Active Secret Clearance is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing local and wide area networks.
  • Basic desktop applications, including MS office (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, etc.)
  • Experience with CISCO 9500, 9300, 4300, TACLANE, NETAPP, ONTAP CLUSTER MODE, MICROSOFT STORAGE 2016, CommVault, NetApp SnapVault / SnapMirror, Server16 Backup Services, Win10 Standalone backup services.



Additional Qualifications


  • Active Top Secret Clearance.
  • Strong  writing, communication and team building skills.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a team based environment.
