Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated FDA Client Account Lead to join our team in the DC metro area. The FDA Client Account Lead will be responsible to serve as a trusted advisor and business partner for our growing FDA Account. The FDA Client Account Lead will work in collaboration with other teams across the business to support our government health clients. The successful candidate will create, manage, and own account plans and activities to grow business.

Job Description

 

As a FDA Client Account Lead you will:

  • Leverage Capgemini’s broad range of functional capabilities to build and deliver a diversified business supporting the mission of the CGGS' FDA account.
  • Manage pipeline and capture of opportunities to meet account business and market goals.
  • Execute end-to-end proposal process for all color-team reviews and pricing build-up for responses; actively research, contribute, and write proposal content.
  • Engage with Capgemini global team (180,000 worldwide) to build relationships and leverage commercial capabilities to expand footprint.
  • Work with delivery leaders, manage portfolio of projects within account to emphasize an entrepreneurial mind-set developing new opportunities, successful delivery of engagements and driving thought leadership.
  • Ownership for activities related to development and maintenance of client relationships and the management of multiple and simultaneous complex work streams and engagements.
  • Leverage project team expertise in the business development cycle to gather on-the-ground market intelligence and support the goal of expanding current work and adding new work within the account structure.
  • Actively meet with small businesses and other partners for successful team formations.
  • Brief executive clients on Capgemini domain experience and capabilities.
  • Manage pipeline and capture of opportunities to meet business and market goals and actively.
  • Lead multiple transactional engagements and consulting teams that meet client delivery targets.
  • Develop thought leadership (methodologies, whitepapers, etc.) that contribute to improved client processes and effectiveness.

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited College/University in Business Administration, Public Policy/Affairs, Political Science, Computer Science and/or related fields.
  • At least 8 years professional experience.
  • At least 3 years direct experience serving as an Account Manager in a Federal Civilian Agency.
  • At least 3 years business development experience in the Federal market.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with the client team members.
  • A strong government budgeting background with ability to understand methodologies and processes from a policy viewpoint.
  • Varied experiences writing to multiple proposal response types (e.g., vehicles, task orders, prime, sub).
  • Proven leadership and experience in executing account and capture plans to gain new business.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Specific experience with FDA, including CBER, CDRH, CDER or CTPO or with other HHS organizations is highly preferred. 
  • Experience delivering and managing a project portfolio between $5M and $10M per year of annual revenue.
  • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations, to include executive-level clients.
  • Detailed knowledge of end-to-end capture process, proposal process, and delivery lifecycle.
  • Experience leading and guiding teams for both business development and project delivery.
  • Experience interacting with and presenting to government client leadership.
