As a member of our team you will work closely with our clients to provide testing services that are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction. This position will also be aligned to the Capgemini Testing Service Line which is recognized as a world leader in Application Testing Services.


Job Responsibilities

As a Automation Test Engineer you will:

  • Perform Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) tasks which include supporting testing efforts in Agile environments across major client applications and their interfacing systems.  
  • Develop and execute automated system testing scripts leveraging Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Ensure that testing results and defects are accurately reported/documented.
  • Interact and collaborate with other test engineers, ITPM’s and system developers to ensure integrated solution development and testing.


Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field is required
  • 3+ years of experience as an automation test engineer or software development engineer in test (SDET) or equivalent experience with Java and/or Ruby development coding
  • Strong communication and team building skills
  • Strong test writing skills
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a team based environment


Additional Qualifications

  • Familiarity with DevOps and Continuous Integration concepts, including tools like Jenkins, is preferred
  • Knowledge of industry standard test management and defect tracking solutions is preferred
  • Experience with Open Source Automation Tools (such as Selenium, Cucumber/Gerkhin, Watir) is preferred
  • Experience with Automation Frameworks (Java and/or Ruby, Cucumber, Watir, Robot, Geb, Spock, Junit4, TestNG, Nunit), and Version Control Systems (such as GIT, Mercurial, CVS, SVN) is preferred
