Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated undergraduate, Junior Consultants to join our team to support our government clients with the desire to learn the fundamentals of Government consulting. You will work as part of a team helping to solve challenging issues by learning to use industry best-practices and a variety of technologies.


The Junior Consultant’s primary objective is to help our clients design and implement effective solutions to deliver value and improve business performance by implementing technology solutions in a cost-effective way and determining the requirements of a project or program through evidence-based analytics, robust data reporting solutions, and mission-critical communications and conveying them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.  The consultant could be aligned to Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Order to Cash, etc. within the software.


As a Junior Consultant, responsibilities may include:

  • Requirements gathering and analytics

  • Business process mapping and process design

  • Documentation of functional processes and customizations

  • System configuration and testing (System, Integration, Functional, User Acceptance)

  • Assistance and support with project management activities

Junior Consultants are immediately considered an integral part of the team to complete on time delivery. A typical day could include multiple team meetings/workshops, completing deliverables like business design documents and status reports, as well as logging in and configuring and testing the system. For every project, you will have a team of experienced resources that will guide you through your responsibilities and development so that you can gradually take on more responsibility.


Potential Technologies

  • Cloud technologies by one or more cloud service providers such as AWS or Azure

  • SAP, JDA,or NetSuite

  • Linux and Apache web servers

  • Database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, MongDB, MysQL, PostgreSQL)

  • Knowledge in Salesforce

  • Content Management Systems (SharePoint)

  • Microsoft Office Suites (Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)


Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required

  • Eligibility for U.S. Government security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree completed prior to start in a relevant field (e.g.: Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics,  Supply Chain Management or other related field of study.)


Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in consulting, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.  Candidates are expected to have excellent communication skills, job/internship experience, robust presentation skills, and a strong attention to detail.


Travel Patterns: Up to 25% travel is possible. Should you be on a local project, you will be expected to be on the client site Monday – Friday.
