Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Functional Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in the DC Metro Area to support our government clients.

Job Responsibilities

The Senior Functional Supply Chain Analyst will have the opportunity to join a cross-functional and dynamic team in support of executive government clients, directly working to improve government supply chain performance in a multi-agency environment. The team will develop detailed requirements and use cases for future supply chain system functionality, as well as implementing process improvements. The successful candidate will work with a highly talented team to collaboratively develop and deploy Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) solutions for our clients, through design and documentation of business and functional supply chain requirements that will be implemented into their ERP system.


The Functional Supply Chain Analyst will:

  • Apply supply chain best practices and knowledge (e.g. supply chain planning, demand/supply planning transportation, inventory management, procurement) to elicit, develop, document, and verify business and functional requirements for ERP system enhancements.
  • Work directly with government clients to understand their unique needs to meet various government mission needs.
  • At times, lead multiple cross-functional team of consultants and government representatives in requirement gathering meetings and workshop.
  • Interact with government IT and System Integrator contractors to discuss functional and system designs, and requirements.
  • At times, contribute to business development efforts including supporting opportunity capture and supporting/leading proposal responses to build Capgemini’s presence in the civilian government agency market.                


Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Systems, Business, or related field is required
  • Experience in requirements gathering and documentation for Supply Chain systems
  • 9 years of professional experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain functional areas and processes (e.g. Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Transportation, Warehousing)
  • Experience should be in End-to-end Implementation, Support, optimization and various areas with implementation of Sub-modules like Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution and Production Planning.
  • Understand client requirements to provide solutions, functional specifications and configure the system accordingly
  • A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools, version control, testing and QA, and deployment)Demonstrated experience with supply chain management programs
  • Demonstrated experience on projects with large scope and scale across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Excellent client engagement and relationship management skills, including working collaboratively in a complex environment and building consensus across the stakeholder community
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including developing high quality presentations and graphically appealing deliverables and work products. Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities


Additional Qualifications

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a team based environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in government consulting
  • Highly preferred Knowledge and implementation experience of supply chain tools (e.g. supply chain ERP/SCM tools such as SAP)
  • Experience developing and implementing project roadmaps
  • Business development experience (experience responding to RFIs and RFPs)
  • APICS CSCP Certification
