Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Test Engineer to join our team in the Kansas City Metro Area to support
our government clients.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide
range of stakeholders, and build CGGS’ capabilities serving our clients.
As a member of the CGGS team you will work closely with our clients to provide testing services that are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction.
As a Senior Test Engineer you will:
Work with developers, end users and organizations to create test plans and test scripts.
Coordinate with test sites and other team participants to plan test events.
Track problems and report on errors that are identified.
Support testing efforts as the member of a testing team responsible for testing efforts in environments across major client applications and interfacing systems.
Develop and execute system testing scripts.
Develop test scripts and load models for performance testing based on system requirements, processes, and user stories.
Ensure that performance testing results are accurately reported and documented, collaborating across system development teams to troubleshoot and identify performance bottlenecks.
U.S. Citizenship Required.
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field is required.
Must have experience in writing or assisting in the development of test plans and test procedures.
Must have experience with configuring necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
Must have comprehensive technical expertise on IT products, operating systems, software, hardware, systems and networks and specialized environments.
Experience in the coordination and execution of test events in accordance with approved test plans, procedures and scripts.
Knowledge and skills to ensure that test environments are set up accurately.
Must be able to create test reports.
Strong communication and team building skills.
Strong test writing skills.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a team based environment.
Experience with leadership for lower level employees.
Develop basic test simulations to evaluate how products react under different conditions.
