Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our Financial Management Consulting Practice focused on the Federal Civilian workspace within the DC Metro Market.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build a track record of success identifying and addressing client needs— building strong relationships with clients; developing an awareness of firm services; communicating with clients in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to managers and company executives.
  • Analyze detailed budgeting, finance and accounting processes in client organizations to identify improvement opportunities, simplify complex processes and help clients achieve reductions in operating costs, cycle time and error rates.
  • Work successfully as a team member— understanding individual and team roles; contributing to a positive and collaborative working environment by building effective relationships with team members at all levels of seniority; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; and providing guidance, clarification and feedback to less-experienced staff.
  • Serve as a project team lead to teams of junior consultants.
  • Review, analyze and evaluate Federal budgets, financial statements and business processes— developing solutions to improve soundness, processes, funding justifications, and client decision-making.
  • Support and manage account planning activities to develop business and generate revenue within Federal Civilian and Defense Agencies.
  • Manage pipeline and capture of opportunities to meet business and market goals, while actively leading multiple transactional client engagements that meet client delivery quality standards.
  • Develop thought leadership in financial management or economic analysis (methodologies, whitepapers, industry presentations, etc.) that contribute to improved client delivery and company brand recognition.
  • Execute large capture and proposal processes, including color-team reviews for proposal responses.
  • Engage with global Capgemini counterparts, building relationships to bring the firm’s commercial expertise and capabilities to Federal clients.
  • Actively cultivate relationships with small businesses and other industry partners for successful delivery team formation.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Candidates with CCE/A, CGFM or CFA preferred
  • Master’s degree from an accredited College/University in Business Administration, Public Policy/Affairs, and or related fields, with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience (strong government budget or financial management background with ability to understand policy)
  • At least five (5) years of direct consulting experience in Federal Civilian markets with proven leadership of business development activities (e.g., account and capture management) in the Federal market and demonstrated ability to manage and lead multiple client delivery engagements
  • Experience in government budget and financial management, focusing on Federal financial reporting and/or auditing in accordance with Office of Management & Budget (OMB) guidance and Government Accountability Office audit and internal control standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of federal CIO requirements, IT governance processes and requirements pertaining to OMB Circular A-11
  • Ability to lead client engagements focused on advanced business analysis, in diverse client domains such as IT portfolio management, policy research, public policy, optimization, risk management, and financial analysis, communicating analyses in client-ready written reports and presentations for senior technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability supporting complex budget and financial models in a variety of tools (e.g., Excel) and use of other financial analysis tools in diverse federal government environments. Advanced Skills in MS Excel involving pivot tables, VLOOKUP formulas, etc. Experience with Tableau and PowerBI highly desirable
  • Detailed knowledge of end-to-end capture process, proposal process and client delivery lifecycle
