Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for a Data Analyst role to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. The Data Analyst is a multifaceted role working in collaboration with other teams across the business to support our government clients. The successful candidate will be responsible to support the development and maintenance of analytical tools and models, including staffing models and optimization/decision support tools.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGGS’ capabilities serving our clients.
 
Job Responsibilities:


As a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Review existing reports, metrics, and analytics for automation and improvement as appropriate.
  • Perform root cause analysis and predictive analysis to formulate, recommended changes to proactively resolve process and/or technical inefficiencies.
  • Draft, edit, and manage written communications such as executive summaries, memorandums, policy memos, and briefings.
  • Adapt within a fast-paced environment and display flexibility to adjust goals and priorities to generate on-time and high-quality deliverables that meet client's requirement.
  • Triage escalations into the team and determine the best course of action.
  • Engage with the leadership team as necessary to ensure the highest level of customer experience possible.


Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4-5 years in applicable field).
  • 2-3 years of experience working in an ITIL organization.
  • Experience in supporting requirement gathering and analysis.
  • Experience in translating policy and strategic initiatives into quantitative data analysis and investigative data research.
  • Experience in statistical and regression modeling.
  • Have 'Soft' skill attributes:
    • High level of attention to detail.
    • Excellent client engagement and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a complex environment and navigating  roadblocks.


Additional Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Experience in Government Consulting.
  • Ability to think critically and break complex problems into smaller, connected, logical tasks.
  • Strong aptitude for analytical concepts, excellent oral and written communication skills, customer focus, teamwork abilities, integrity, and relationship-building skills.
  • Good time management, as well as the ability to be flexible and creative.
  • Experience working with MS Office (Excel, Visio & PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
  • Experience using Business Objects and building reports.
  • Experience in data modeling and data visualization.
  • Experience in statistics/quantitative analysis.
