Description Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Junior Pega Designer with application development and configuration experience to join our team in Arlington, VA. The Junior Pega Designer is a multifaceted role working in collaboration with other teams across the business to support our business clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and configuring specific portion of the Pega Application, working with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and building CGGS’ capabilities in Pega development to serve our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Junior Pega Designer you will:
•Quickly Discern requirements, design, and develop the application in an agile fashion.
•Leverage knowledge of the agile delivery methodology, and how it pertains to developing a Pega-based application.
•Use mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding or configuration standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
•Build and support the client required functionality using PRPC (PegaRULES Process Commander) 7.x:
•Configure PRPC to address and interface with client to understand client-required functionality
•Recommend optimal PRPC configuration based on client requirements
•Support the testing and debugging of PRPC configurations and customizations
•Transition knowledge of PRPC technical implementation to client personnel

Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management or a related field.
•U.S. Citizenship is required.
•Eligibility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
•Minimum of 1 year of experience in developing Java-based applications (or equivalent object oriented programming languages).

Additional Qualification:
•One year of experience in configuring COTS products, specifically Salesforce, Pega, ServiceNow, MSFT Dynamics, and/or Oracle RightNow.
•Demonstrated experience using agile delivery with Scrum framework.

•Demonstrated experience researching, testing, building, and coordinating the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.

•Demonstrated experience designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software.

•Demonstrated experience consulting with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.

•Pega Certification.
