Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Delivery Manager with strong leadership skills to join our team in the DC metro area to support our government clients. The Delivery Manager is a multifaceted role where you will lead client delivery teams and support business development activities. The successful candidate will work directly on client-site in Washington, DC and take ownership of the overall project and end deliverables. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their leadership capabilities, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGGS’ capabilities in program management in serving our clients. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

As a Delivery Manager you will:

  • Manage all aspects of delivery including establishing trusted-advisor relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Lead a project team of 6-10 people to generate on-time and high-quality deliverables that meet client requirements within a fast-paced environment.
  • Gather and analyze both quantitative and qualitative information, present findings and recommendations to client management, and implement recommendations and new initiatives with project team.
  • Review existing reports, metrics, and analytics for automation and improvement as appropriate.
  • Mentor team members in project management functions.
  • Support business development activities including identifying new leads and leading proposals and RFI responses.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, business administration, or other relevant field.
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience and 3 years of relevant experience in management consulting or people management.
  • Experience attracting, scaling, and developing high performing and highly engaged teams.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in desktop applications, including MS office (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, etc).
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills.
  • Excellent client engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Occasional 1 week domestic travel may be required.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in related field.
  • Current DHS, DOD, or DOJ clearance.
  • Practical knowledge of immigration policy and immigrant/migrant populations.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and unstructured problems.
