Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a Business Process Analyst with experience in the analysis of IT business and information environment and be able to effectively recommend and implement improvements to the business and data architectures that will improve overall agency performance. This is a remote role, the candidate can be located anywhere in the United States.  The successful applicant will be responsible to assist in the challenges inherent in making a fundamental shift from building IT to consuming IT via the cloud.

 

The candidate will be assigned to support our capability to provide operational input and support for the operations, maintenance, and refinement of an Enterprise Cloud environment, execution support for migrating new and legacy  applications and services to cloud computing and continuous improvement of our clients IT infrastructure. The candidate will support our clients in their cloud operations to enhance, optimize, and maintain their computing capabilities across their technical landscape.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

As a Business Process Analyst, you will:

 

  • Provide technical analysis including:
    • Perform needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions.
    • Conduct business process analysis and provide recommendations for process improvement.
    • Document and understand the process logic for every process.
    • Model the cloud operations service management processes by linking together the different contributing processes without losing sight of the measurement of systems and activities within each process.
  • Gather, describe and document the cloud operations service management processes and related systems and infrastructure using processes and methods in a broad range of IT activities and in-depth analysis of IT issues as necessary.
  • Refine the cloud operations service management objectives and identify the necessary performance metrics (together with baseline and target values) to effectively support benchmarking and performance measurements.
  • Develop cost estimates for new and modified cloud operations service and service management processes, and identify risks and assumptions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and trade-off analyses. Analysis must be completed in the context of commercial, local, national and federal architectural cloud operations performance standards.
  • Meet with customers, technical staff and management through in-person and remote settings.
  • Present information formally and informally, including business cases, technology briefings and training to a variety of audiences.
  • Perform tasks requiring in-depth knowledge of business domain targeting process efficiency and improvement, confers with client executive management to define the client’s strategic business information technology goals and advises in the reengineering of business processes to meet those goals.
  • Applies process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to process modernization projects.
  • Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer.

 

Basic Qualifications

 

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance (Public Trust Low-Risk),
  • Must have knowledge of IT business and information environment and be able to implement recommended improvements to the data architectures and networks in support of the business environment.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business Discipline.
  • Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

 

Additional Qualifications

 

  • ITIL, AWS, Azure, RHEL, Windows, or VMWare Certifications.
  • Experience with configuration of IBM Rational Toolset for management, configuration and reporting of work products.
  • Experience working in a ITIL or ISO 27000 environment.
  • Active clearance for Public Trust (Low-Risk) Position
