Description Position Description:

Capgemini supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) to coordinate the needs of detainees’ diverse religious practices as a part of our overall program management support. Customer expectations are high; written and verbal communications with the customer organization occur daily, usually hourly. The team is expected to consistently meet all deadlines, which often include ad hoc requests and short timelines. You will be joining a high-performance team producing work products that have great visibility, so it is imperative that work products are of the highest quality possible, thorough and accurate.

Position Responsibilities:

• Adapt within a fast-paced environment and display flexibility to adjust goals and priorities to generate on-time and high-quality deliverables that meet client requirements
• Conduct analysis, research, and metrics reports to support the implementation of ICE programs and policies, including religious services and otherwise as needed
• Help to develop training programs, educational efforts, and other activities to assist ICE facilities in meeting or exceeding the ICE religious services standards
• Conduct outreach and build a collaborative partnership with a national volunteer network of multi-faith providers to service all ICE
• Develop and implement program policies and procedures to accommodate religious activities at all ICE facilities, as well as other agency efforts as needed
• Help to evaluate and assess the religious activities at ICE facilities as needed
• Facilitate effective and efficient business communications between all stakeholders

Position Skills:

REQUIRED:
1. US citizenship and eligible for DHS clearance Required
2. 8 or more years of experience in:
• Religious or other social work involving the immigrant population, training, and volunteer coordination
• Technical assistance on strategies for meeting ICE religious service standards
• Immigration policy and/or implementing and managing strategic and operational programs for immigration or other federal government agencies
3. Also possess:
• Excellent communications and writing skills
• Self-motivation and entrepreneurial work ethic
• Strong curiosity about how things work and the ability to quickly understand ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
• Ability and desire to support business development and proposal efforts
• Desire and ability to mentor less experienced team members
DESIRED:
• Master’s Degree
• Professional, direct client facing experience with DHS government executives at the Senior Executive Series level
• Current DHS or DOD clearance preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
