Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Program Analyst to join our team in DC Metro area to support our government clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, analyzing, coordinating, and providing advice regarding policies and programs related to social services for a custody setting as a part of our overall program management support.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset involving policy and social services in a custody setting, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders in serving our clients.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

As a Program Analyst, you will:

 

  • Conduct analysis, research, and reports to support the implementation of programs and policies.
  • Facilitate development of training programs, educational efforts, and other activities to assist facilities in meeting or exceeding standards for providing support to individuals, families, or groups in need of personal, health, social, financial, or other counseling while in custody.
  • Conduct outreach and build a collaborative partnership with counseling, social welfare, and child welfare organizations, and other relevant federal agencies.
  • Support the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate effective and efficient communications between all stakeholders.
  • Review and respond to social and mental health related inquiries from relevant stakeholders.
  • Evaluate existing tools and operational processes to determine gaps and develop improvement plans.
  • Produce memorandums, policy papers, and tools on counseling and social service issues.
  • Adapt within a fast-paced environment and display flexibility to adjust goals and priorities to generate on-time and high-quality deliverables that meet client requirements.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sociology, social work, public policy, political science, or other relevant field.
  • Minimum of seven (8) years of total work experience, with at least three (3) years’ experience related to counseling, social work, or mental/behavioral health issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in basic desktop applications, including MS office (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, etc.).
  • Ability to conduct data driven analysis to inform policy, operations, or strategic initiatives.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial work ethics.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay flexible in a dynamic work environment.
  • Desire and ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Periodic CONUS travel required (not expected to exceed 20% of your time).

 

Additional Qualifications

 

  • Masters in Political Science, Social Work, or Sociology preferred but not required.
  • Professional direct client facing experience with government executives at the Senior Executive Series level.
