Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated individual for SAP ABAP Developer role to join our team in Kansas City, MO. The Successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the business context of requirements, develop solutions accordingly and will interact with support team members very frequently.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset in development work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGGS’ capabilities in while serving our clients.

As a SAP ABAP Developer, you will:

  • Perform complex analysis and programming.
  • Design, test, and debug and be responsible for implementation, enhancement, integration, upgrade and support  SAP systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions for production and development issues.
  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships with users within IT and with the vendors.


Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in the ralated technologies.
  • Experience in defining, documenting, designing, coding, testing and deploying workflows, reports, integrations, customizations, enhancements and forms.
  • Experience in Process Orchestration and other SAP specific tools such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs.


Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in managing ABAP developers as oversight both onsite and offshore.
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge or experience with integration points.
  • Working knowledge and experience in specific components of an interface design including automated processes, manual processes, monitoring and exception handling.
  • Ability to manage own time and priorities to reach project goals.
