Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Business Process Reengineering Senior Analyst to join our team in the Kansas City Metro Area to support our government clients. 


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skill set in process improvement work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGGS’ capabilities in in serving our clients.


Job Responsibilities


The Business Process Re-engineering Senior Analyst will be a multifaceted role working collaborating with teams in geographically disperse areas and roles across a large consulting engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and conducting business process improvement efforts to drive value to our clients.


As a Business Process Reengineering Senior Analyst you will:

  • Work directly with government clients to execute on implementing process improvements across business and IT operational areas.
  • Apply a range of business process improvement techniques, would could include but not limited to: continuous process improvement (CPI), lean, Six Sigma, etc. as needed.
  • Lead the work of junior business process re-engineering staff in process improvement tasks.
  • Advise on business process re-engineering methodologies.
  • Analyze process data and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead or contribute to deliverables and work products such as: As-Is Assessments, process mapping, requirements gathering, gap analysis, To-Be process development, Business Case, and process implementation plans.


 Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in process improvement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive experience in basic desktop applications, including MS office (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including developing high quality presentations in MS PowerPoint.
  • Mastery of business process re-engineering competencies including: process mapping, data analysis, pain point analysis, As-Is and To- Be, gap analysis, etc.
  • High attention to detail.


Additional Qualifications

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a team based environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
  • Experience providing process improvement consulting to federal government agencies.
  • Experience with implementing process improvements within an IT environment.
  • Experience with process mapping tools (e.g. MS Visio).
  • Experience managing junior consultants or analysts on process improvement work.
