Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Database Architect who is able to clearly identify goals for data management to join in the Kansas City, MO metro area to support our federal government clients. The Database Architect will be a multifaceted role working in collaboration with teams in geographically disperse areas and roles across a large consulting engagement.  

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset in process improvement work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGGS’ capabilities in serving our clients. 

 

Job Responsibilities

As a Database Architect you will:

  • Translate user needs to database design and create database management processes and detailed documentation.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline or eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education. 
  • Has experience in conducting routine database administration tasks and logging data in database admin logs.
  • Experience in managing the routine operations and maintenance of databases and ensuring their reliable and efficient performance.
  • Extensive experience in basic desktop applications, including MS office (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.).
  • High attention to detail.

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with within an IT environment in federal government agencies.
  • Experience in developing high quality presentations in MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
