Title IT Service Transition Manager

Description Capgemini Government Solutions is searching for an IT Service Transition Manager to join our Aerospace team in the Indianapolis area.

Requirements:
• U.S. citizenship required
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Build relationships with the Project and Program Management Community
• Support selected projects from the portfolio as agreed with sector contacts to negotiate the existing Service Integration processes
• Provide updates to Service Transition Reporting within the TMO on Project Checkpoint readiness
• Advise and assist the Projects on checkpoint and service readiness
• Attend and support checkpoint meetings
• Work with client project managers to provide and complete example/template documentation from within the existing client libraries
• Promote the Service Management perspective
• Assist with Service Support/ELS models
• Assist with SIA documents
• Provide IT service management recommendations
• Promote the TMO function
• Build the TMO knowledge of the challenges currently experienced in adhering with the SI process
• Feed improvement recommendations into the overall Service Transition Design team
• Highlight mandatory artefacts sign off processes/accountable people to project managers
• Provide advice and guidance on management of risks within the projects
• Feed into Program RAIDE log
• Support the increased resourcing capability requirements needed for future TMO growth
• Provide guidance on underpinning Service Management good practice RUN requirements
• Develop and expand the role as the TMO progresses through the Determine, Deliver, Run concepts
