Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated HPC Consultant with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our Civil Market team in Cincinnati, Ohio to support our government clients.

 

The HPC Consultant is a multifaceted role working collaborating with other teams across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing computers for installation and performing various configuration tasks.

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset in HPC work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGGS’ capabilities in high performance computing in serving our clients.

 

Job Responsibilities

As a HPC Consultant you will

  • Prepare computers for installation and perform various configuration tasks.

  • Install computer systems, peripherals, and software, which would include physical networking, power management and protection.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in high performance computing

  • Familiarity with one programming language such as C, Java, C++, and Fortran

  • Familiarity with at least one scripting languages such as (TCSH, Bash, C shell, Perl, Python)

  • Basic troubleshooting skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong communication and team building skills.

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a team based environment.
