Description Capgemini Government Solutions is searching for a Senior Cloud Security Architect. This position requires experience and expertise in Cloud security, a working knowledge of FedRAMP, and a detailed understanding of CSP service offerings and security-related design considerations. As the Senior Cloud Security Architect you will:

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud environments as well as review and provide feedback on proposed cloud designs and implementations
• Make recommendations to senior leadership concerning cloud technology, infrastructure, and design with regards to cybersecurity
• Provide advice and recommendations for incorporation of security into cloud based Agile development and deployment processes
• Support creation and/or update of existing policy to reflect adoption of Cloud technologies
• Provide informal training (basic and advanced) on both security and operational aspects of cloud offerings (AWS, Azure), technologies and environments

• U.S. Citizenship and have, or be eligible for, a DHS Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance
• IT security certifications (CISSP, or equivalent), or a Bachelor’s in Information Technology or related discipline
• 10+ years of technical IT security experience (system or network administration, security analysis, security testing and evaluation, security incident response, security monitoring, IT project implementation, or other similar technical activities)
• 5+ years of experience (research, design, implementation) pertaining to Cloud Security
• Fluent knowledge of NIST and FIPS security controls and how they apply to Cloud Security
• Strong ability to work independently and with minimal guidance
• Strong oral/written communications and client facing skills
• Ability to proficiently articulate technical concepts to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences using both written and verbal communications
