Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Database Administrator / Data Architect  to join our team in the DC Metro Area to support our government clients. 


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGGS’ capabilities serving our clients.


Job Responsibilities

As a Database Administrator / Data Architect you will:

  • Support the development and maintenance of analytical tools, databases and models, including recurring monthly reporting outputs and optimization/decision support tools.
  • Translate policy and strategic initiatives into design, development and implementation of innovative data analysis, reports, metrics, processes, and tools for performance management, policy implementation and monitoring, data visualization, policy analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Evaluate existing data tools, operational processes, and artifacts to determine gaps and develop improvement plans.
  • Review existing reports, metrics, and analytics for automation and improvement as appropriate.
  • Support administration of data management tools, application design, reconciliation, and quality assurance functions, eventually expanding application design and functionality.  
  • Adapt within a fast-paced environment and display flexibility to adjust goals and priorities to generate on-time and high-quality deliverables that meet client requirements.


Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Active CBP Public Trust clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience serving in a Database Administrator / Data Architect role.
  • Experience with analytics, reporting, and data quality.
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server, including the ability to run stored procedures, and general understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Experience in supporting requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Experience in translating policy and strategic initiatives into quantitative data analysis and investigative data research.


Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with data modeling and data visualization.
  • Background and experience with Enterprise Infrastructure and basic architectural concepts.
  • Experience supporting business development efforts, including drafting responses to RFP/RFQ/RFI and client  white papers.
