Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Automation Test Engineer in DC metro area. The successful candidate will work with the latest open source test automation tools and will be responsible for troubleshooting and test the software.  This role is a multifaceted role collaborating with other teams across the business.

Job Responsibilities

 

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will:

  • Perform Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) tasks, support testing efforts in Agile environments across major client applications and their interfacing systems.  
  • Develop and execute automated system testing scripts leveraging Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Ensure that testing results and defects are accurately reported/documented.
  • Interact and collaborate with other test engineers, ITPM’s and system developers to ensure integrated solution development and testing.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an automation test engineer or software development engineer in test (SDET) or equivalent experience with Java and/or Ruby development coding.
  • Strong test writing skills.

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong communication and team building skills.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a team based environment
