Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Jr. IT/Helpdesk Analyst to work with IT team in our McLean, VA Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent internal support to the employees and must have experience working in a Windows environment with cloud-enabled systems. The qualified applicant will directly report to the Director of IT and work closely with the Systems Administrator. The position requires the applicant to have a strong customer service dispensation (i.e. can do attitude), excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate technical information (whether verbal or written) to a wide range of end-users (who are geographically distributed).

Job Responsibilities

 

As a Junior IT/Helpdesk Analyst, you will:

                                         

  • Support company systems and infrastructure to include laptop computers, printers, VOIP Phones, smartphones, as well as additional technologies as needed. 
  • Respond to Tier 1 help desk requests received through email (tickets), phone, or in person and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide problem management, troubleshooting, support, diagnose and resolve critical software and hardware issues.
  • Support user account maintenance using Active Directory (i.e. account creation, password resets, and account disabling/termination).
  • Support hosted/cloud-based services for end-users (e.g. Office 365 email, laptop backup, Dynamics CRM, and access to internal business systems).
  • Support personnel on-boarding and off-boarding processes.  
  • Image, configure and provide support for laptops, tablets and mobile hardware and software.
  • Manage and monitor IT assets to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Support VOIP devices (i.e. desk and conference room phones) and audio-visual equipment
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of systems (e.g. TVs, printers, AV systems, phones, etc.) and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs (i.e. backup, PowerShell scripts, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain detailed and accurate documentation. (Documentation may be required for operational procedures, troubleshooting aids, and technical analyses for products, features, and capabilities).
  • Provide regular feedback to team and management on risks and issues.
  • Work cross functionally to resolve complex customer problems.
  • Required to perform other related duties as needed.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Associates Degree in Technical area of study or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience with at least 1 year in a related IT Analyst role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective work relationships.
  • Ability to communicate, plan and organize effectively.
  • Ability to respond to occasional after-hours support including evenings, weekends and holidays.

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a small business IT environment 
  • Relevant Certifications desired: A+
  • Microsoft SharePoint configuration experience
  • Microsoft PowerShell development experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM development experience
