Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Manager who has experience managing Information Technology related projects to join our team in Kansas City, MO metro area to support our federal government clients. The Project Manager is a multifaceted role working with systems in geographically disperse areas and roles across a large consulting engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking costs, schedule and performance progress and able to identify and mitigate risks.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset in process improvement, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with stakeholders, and build CGGS’ capabilities in serving our clients.


Job Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Work on day-to-day tactical duties for a highly complex technical program or group of programs.
  • Responsible to oversee results of multi-functional project teams (not including P&L nor business development).
  • Provide administrative/operational leadership to the  project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.
  • Monitor project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budgets are well defined and maintained.
  • Provide the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
  • May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs. 


Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of  professional job related experience or eight (8) years with Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Business, Engineering, or  Related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years Project Management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive experience in basic desktop applications, including MS office (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.).
  • High attention to detail. 


Additional Qualifications

  • Project management experience in a government program.
