Description The Analyst position provides executive administrative and analytical support to the Pentagon’s Heating and Refrigeration Plant (H&RP) as part of the Washington Headquarters Services contract.
Requirements Job Duties:

•Works independently; provides general direction and establishes overall administrative support to H&RP.
•Plans and carries out analysis of assigned projects
•Performs varied clerical and secretarial duties requiring knowledge of office routine and an understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to office work.
•Uses judgment and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations.
•Interprets and adapts guidelines, including unwritten policies, precedents and practices
•Assists in maintaining continuity of operations in the office.
•Performs day-to-day administrative actions, including short lead suspense assigned by H&RP leadership
•Maintains performance metrics reports
•Creates and maintains monthly and ad hoc reports.
•Anticipates and prepares materials needed by the H&RP leaders for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, etc, and informs government supervisor on matters to be considered.
•Prepares special or one-time reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources such as reports, documents, correspondence, other offices, etc.
•Maintains office calendars for large staff, sets up meetings, and takes minutes of meetings
•Organizes and maintains a centralized filing system
•Prepares conference materials, PowerPoint charts, correspondence, appointments, meetings, and conference calls for executive staff
•Creates clearance and investigation requests for personnel and vehicle access
•Processes documents to obtain a common access card (CAC)
•Consults with H&RP executives on business needs, assists in translating needs and requirements into analytics and /or reporting requirements
•Interfaces with internal and external customers to ensure successful delivery of requirements.
•Develops branch/division presentations and reports.
•Compose correspondence with little to no supervision concerning administrative matters and general office policies for leadership approval.


•Bachelors OR combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelors
•Government Tier 1 investigation to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
•Mastery of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
•4-6 years of executive administrative support
•Maintains daily accountability of time in time tracking software
•Maintain highest ethical standard
•Must work well both independently and as a member of a team

Must be able to pass NCIC background check to obtain a Computer Access Care (CAC) and Building Pass.

Military background/experience preferred.

Must be able to travel as needed and adhere to AFSC travel policies and procedures.

Physical requirements can typically be characterized as sedentary: work involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
