Description Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage small to medium-sized proposals under tight schedule constraints, with minimal oversight
• Develop and distribute appropriate proposal-related documentation, including compliance matrices, style guides, outlines, schedules, and kick-off presentations
• Review proposal content for compliance and cohesiveness
• Manage time and multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment while supporting several projects simultaneously
• Manage one or more proposal volumes (including a Technical Volume) on large-sized proposals
• Develop and manage responses to pre-solicitation notices and requests for information
• Lead and assist with the coordination, organization, and submission of proposals and presentations and support document management; communications; and other administrative tasks.
• Schedule Lead proposal meetings, reviews and manage the proposal calendar
• Support proposal meetings, to include attending all meetings, taking notes, and producing any required documentation
• Prepare proposal volumes and binders for submission
• Report on the status of all upcoming, in-process, and outstanding proposals and opportunities
• Participate in Capture activities by providing support to Business Development and Capture Management staff prior to solicitation release by participating, as much as is possible, and coordinate proposal activities with them following release of the solicitation.
• Act as a mentor to Proposal Coordinator/Researcher and Senior Proposal Coordinator/Researcher staff members
• Provide guidance to and oversight of Proposal Coordinator/Researcher and Senior Proposal Coordinator/Researcher staff members
• Coordinate with Creative on supplies for the proposals (e.g., binders/CDs/boxes).

Requirements Qualifications and Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree required
• 3-5 years of work experience in a professional office environment required
• 2-4 years of experience in proposal development and coordination in response to Federal Government solicitations required to include,
o Analyzing solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, etc.) for client requirements
o Developing proposal outlines and compliance matrices
o Developing proposal schedules
o Initiating and facilitating meetings and proposal reviews
o Serving a point of contact for authors and teammates regarding proposal activities
o Writing and/or editing proposal sections, corporate information, resumes, and/or project description
• Excellent time and resource management skills
• Must demonstrate the necessary personality and leadership skills to engage and motivate a diverse group of domain and technical experts, consultants, and subcontractors
• Position requires an acute attention to detail and impeccable proofreading and editing skills
• Must possess demonstrated abilities to work under and enforce tight deadlines, work independently and as part of a team, and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
• Flexibility to meet deadlines and proposal schedules and organizational and leadership skills are a must
• Excellent organizational skills, writing skills, and oral communication skills
• Due to the fast-paced work environment, the selected individual must be a team player, self-starter, and able to work with minimal direction to meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and make independent judgments when necessary
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stress and ability to work with a diverse group of personalities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Understanding of US Government contracting and proposal processes

Must be able to travel as needed and adhere to AFSC travel policies and procedures.
