Description Administer company 401(k) plan. Approve and process employee 401(k) transactions, validate data submissions to vendors and respond to employee questions. Maintain and update employee records in HRIS. Process onboarding and employee change information in coordination with company functional departments. Conducts new hire orientation at headquarters and remote offices. Using strong customer relations skills, respond to employee questions. Detail-oriented, strives for accuracy in all aspects of data entry and recordkeeping.


Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
BA or BS preferred.
At least 4 years of experience working in a Human Resources department, with 1-2 years administering a 401(k) plan.
Knowledge of 401(k) plans and underlying regulations.
Technical experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel) and HRIS (UltiPro or equivalent).
General understanding of Service Contract Act and unions a plus.

General Office Demands:

Working under time pressure

Working rapidly for long periods to meet deadlines

Must be able to travel as needed and adhere to AFSC travel policies and procedures.

Physical requirements can typically be characterized as active: Lifting, bending, sitting on the floor, climbing may be required in the position. Requires lifting or moving various pieces of equipment, maximum 40 lbs. Position may require work on hands and knees to conduct program activities.
